Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

The rising star maintains impressive social media audience

The young golfer will have multiple well-known backers when she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, received a special exemption to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses multiple golf courses and regularly competes against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have some close matches," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just stay calm."

"My grandpa essentially suggested to play and enjoy myself," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events in 2024 and has the 461st position in AJGA rankings.

But she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive individual. He suggested me to compete, have fun, and go with the flow."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that her participation exposes golf to different demographics, specifically with younger fans.

The social media influencer has millions of followers and recently launched a personal apparel and wellness label.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
